Adaptive Equipment Matched to Your Child’s Needs

We are back to full steam and accepting applications for manual wheelchairs, both simple and complex, adaptive strollers, standing frames, bath chairs, gait trainers, activity and positioning chairs, and other pediatric mobility equipment for recipients that have been denied by traditional funding sources.

How to Obtain Medical Equipment for Your Child

You may not know which piece of equipment your child needs. Describing some challenges can help us guide you in finding the equipment

The kids’ families first fill out our application. We review the application to determine if they have utilized their available equipment resources; once we know they are eligible, we work on matching their request with our available inventory. If we do not have what they need, we may refer them to one of our service partners. If we do have the equipment, we will schedule them for a TKEN equipment clinic appointment.

How to accurately measure your child for equipment:

Next, to get the right equipment for your child, we have a quick intake form that will help us understand your child’s needs.

Alternative Places to Obtain Equipment

Please note: Currently, we only service the state if Illinois at this time. We appreciate all equipment requests. However, we may not have a device in stock that meets your child’s needs. If we are not able to provide a device, please consider reaching out to one of our partners below. Thank you again for your continued support.
